Beast 15 MPV by Solista uses the Random Op MultiPV mode, default is Random Op MPV=2. In this mode, two variants are examined at a certain depth in parallel, after which both variants are merged into one. The number of variants can be changed. The search of the engine is nevertheless fast, and even with MPV=2 a similar depth is achieved as with SF dev. In my test this engine is in the TOP 3! A neutral test against Stockfish 16.1 on level 10min + 5s and UHO openings runs. With about 7000 kns/engine the result is after 152 of 200 games: +68 =28 -56 for Beast 15 MPV. In this test all other (clone) engines have lost their duels against SF 16.1, so Beast 15 MPV seems to be the new reference here.
