The updated engines are compiled with GCC 12.2 on MSYS2. This is the latest compiler hence they should be optimised and faster than the original compiles (i.e. Blue Marlin 15.3). Someone should test them with BuildTester and tell me whether my compile is faster or not.

Blue Marlin - Stockfish derivative that provides sharp and attractive games. Blue Marlin 15.4 still uses the old architecture as the net used in it is great for sacrifices and attacks. The engine is suitable for playing and analyzing, it supports Polyglot books.

I was skeptical about implementing most of the recent patches to Blue Marlin so as not to lose its style. However, after several dozen attempts, I think that the satisfactory settings were found and it is worth to release Blue Marlin 15

This is most probably the last Blue Marlin release ever as the author expressed his will to not continue with this engine but Swordfish only. For Android there is an APK installer - like I did with Stockfish Polyglot - to satisfy the modern Android interfaces needings.

This engine has two book slots in which you can load any .bin book you need. The praxis is the same of other engines using this extension: entering the complete book path (for example C:\books\Goi.bin for Windows, /storage/emulated/0/Goi.bin for Android). If you write only the book name in the configuration it won't be used.
